Kerry: we transported the MEK members from Iraq to ensure their safety

The US Secretary of State, John Kerry, said on Tuesday that his country had proposed to the Iraqi government to speed up the deportation of the PMOI terrorist organization's members from Camp Liberty to ensure their safety.

Kerry said in a statement to Sky News, followed by Ashraf News, Deporting Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) from Iraq has been through the US assistance to ensure the safety of the terrorist organization's members. The organization announced, on Friday, the transfer of the rest of its members from Iraq for resettlement in Albania in the wake of a series of attacks on their camp in the past few years. Under an agreement brokered by the United States and the UN High Commission for refugees about 2.000 members of the MEK terrorist organization have been resettled in about 12 European countries since the beginning of 2016.
