Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Alabai announced Saturday that the Iraqi government has fully ended the presence of the terrorist Organization of Iran (PMOI) from Iraqi territory, considering the expulsion of this organization as folding another page of the buried remnants of the Baathist regime.

It added that yesterday, all the members of the MEK terrorist organization of Iran have been deported, and the last batch of them which contained 280 members have been deported from Camp Liberty in Baghdad airport to the Republic of Albania, in cooperation with the UN High Commission for Refugees and the United Nations. Al-Abadi Office continued that This concludes the last stage of a chapter linked to the suffering of the Iraqi people from oppression, wars and intervention. The organization announced, on Friday, the transfer of the rest of its members from Iraq for resettlement in Albania in the wake of a series of attacks on their camp in the past few years. Under an agreement brokered by the United States and the UN High Commission for refugees about 2.000 members of the MEK terrorist organization have been resettled in about 12 European countries since the beginning of 2016.
