Death of Laila Shams, member of the MEK, because of Coronavirus
A correspondent for the Ashraf News website in Albania reported, on Tuesday evening, that Laila Shams, a member of the MEK Iranian organization, died as a result of her infection with the new Coronavirus.
Our correspondent said, according to what sources spoke to him, that "Laila Shams, a member of the Mujahideen Khalq, who held a rank in the organization present in the Albanian city of Manza camp, died because of her infection with the new Coronavirus."
According to the sources, "the deaths from Covid-19 infection in Camp Ashraf 3 in Manza have become routine news, as every week 2-3 deaths occur among the Mujahideen Khalq Organization."
The MEK no longer discloses the numbers of injuries and deaths among its members in Camp Ashraf 3 for fear of pressure from the international community and human rights organizations in light of their disregard for the suffering of its members.
While the organization continues to publish data and figures on the numbers of statistics of deaths in Iran and Albania on a daily basis via Sima Azadi channel, it does not reveal the number of deaths among its own members.
Further, the MEK did not purchase the vaccines that were recently approved by the World Health Organization to reduce the number of injuries and deaths in the world.
